Inger is the owner of Verserity, a consulting firm providing strategic and program planning, marketing, and data management and reporting services for nonprofits. She is also the executive director for the Independent Family Resource Group, a small non-profit that supports single-parent families and their education needs. She has worked as a technical consultant for homeless shelters across the country, the Program Director at Light of Life Rescue Mission, the bookkeeper and part-time grant writer at Women’s Choice Network, and has served on committees to improve funding and community support for non-profits in the Pittsburgh area through the Pittsburgh Foundation.

Inger and her husband, Tony, have 4 adult daughters and a granddaughter. They reside in the North Hills of Pittsburgh.
